We have completed two Phase IIa clinical trials using an immediate-release formulation of INV102. The first trial of 10 mild asthmatics was completed in 2006, and the second in May 2009.
In the first open-label published study, INV102 was shown to be safe and exhibited dose-related activity showing a reduction of airway hyper-responsiveness. The second open-label study has been completed and preliminary results are similar to the first study. INV102 is expected to offer competitive advantages over other asthma drugs.
