Inverseon's innovative INV102CR program has the potential to garner a significant portion of the pharmaceutical market for asthma and potentially other chronic diseases of the lung.
INV102 is orally administered, resulting in easier dosing and improved compliance over inhaled asthma drugs. Additionally, INV102 may be steroid-sparing and does not exhibit tolerance with chronic dosing, an issue with long acting beta agonists.
Future Steps
Inverseon intends to commercialize INV102CR, a controlled-release oral
formulation, after investigations in double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical Phase II and III trials.
