February 2008: "The safety and effects of the beta-blocker, nadolol, in mild asthma: an open-label pilot study" published in Pulmonary Pharmacology & Therapeutics.
Study presented the results of Inverseon's positive Phase IIa proof-of-concept clinical trial in asthma patients.
March 2008: "Chronic Exposure to Beta-Blockers Attenuates Inflammation and Mucin Content in a Murine Asthma Model" published in the American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology.
An EDITORIAL suggesting that the March 2008 publication may lead to a "paradigm shift in the treatment of asthma" was published in the same issue.
